
Your lifeguard umbrella will usually go to a public swimming pool, lake or beach. You want the best possible umbrella for your device. There are several things to consider when choosing an umbrella.
The umbrella must be weatherproof. The umbrella will be outside for a long time. So you want one that can withstand the elements of wind, rain, sea water (if by the ocean) and chlorine water (if by a pool).

Lifeguard umbrellas must last. Some umbrellas can be expensive. Especially when buying more than one. So you don’t want to keep replacing them. You want it to last. You want an umbrella that will last year after year regardless of the elements.
