The three basic components of a sales system are:
You need multiple sources of traffic.
Traffic, of course, means people who see your website (or capture page). There are countless ways to secure traffic, but there is no need to use all of them. Tim and Mike’s very famous company uses only three main sources of traffic. Three is the recommended minimum.
You need an automated search system that includes three elements:
Capture page. This is where you plug in your “traffic” and convert traffic into “leads” who are leads. Give a reward for their name and email address. Get your prospect in a “yes” frame of mind.
Automatic reply. Automated email drips serve to maintain a relationship between you and payment gateways for ecommerce your prospects behind the scenes. Keep your prospects interested not only by reminding them of your services, but also by providing them with additional free advice and information that will be really helpful. The point is to build trust.
Self liquidation offer. That means you’re selling them something—not your core product or business opportunity—to pay for the ad that brought them to you. It can be a report, a seminar, a CD or something similar. Tim Erway recommends that you create your own information product as well as something that you are an affiliate for.
The third essential component is a conversion system that works. This means you’re turning someone from a “lead” to a paying customer. Your automated prospecting system will heat up. You need a compelling product, a compelling sell (by the way, this is often achieved by identifying a problem or difficulty the reader has encountered and outlining the benefits—not the features—of your product that solves that problem), good reasons to act now , easy ways to adopt payment and fast delivery.
